With a mission dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, Achievement House Inc. provides supportive services that help participants achieve their personal and professional goals. As a Program and Social Wellness Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering hands-on support and training to individuals in both program and work settings. This full-time position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact in the community while working alongside a passionate and supportive team. Responsibilities Provide ongoing instruction and support to individuals with disabilities, focusing on vocational growth and training objectives tailored to each participants abilities and development. Facilitate social wellness activities and adapt to the needs of diverse groups of individuals served. Monitor and execute contract requirements to ensure quality workmanship and satisfaction of customer expectations. Maintain accurate records, including daily cash records, inventory, and cash receipts deposits, in accordance with internal procedures. Create and follow lesson plans and curriculum to support program goals. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants. Qualifications Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (driving is required for this position). Ability to pass a LiveScan background check. Patience, compassion, and the ability to serve as a positive role model for adults with disabilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience creating and following lesson plans or curriculum is preferred. Basic computer and technology skills. Compensation $250 sign-on bonus for successful applicants!
