Full-time / Part-time / Contract About Us Expert Vocational Insights empowers individuals including veterans, transitional age youth, and professionals navigating disabilities to build meaningful and sustainable employment through empathetic, person-centered support. We deliver a wide range of vocational services, including supported employment, career progression mapping, benefits counseling, and customized employment plans. As we grow, we are seeking an Employment Mentor to support individuals after they have been placed in jobs, helping them adapt, grow, and succeed in their roles. Role Overview As an Employment Mentor, you will work with clients who have already entered the workforce, helping them navigate workplace dynamics, build career confidence, and foster long-term retention. In collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, you will provide practical support, skill development, and individualized growth plans. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one mentoring to employed clients, focusing on workplace success, confidence, and adaptation Support development of communication, problem-solving, social, and workplace skills Monitor job satisfaction and retention, addressing concerns proactively Maintain accurate documentation of progress and outcomes Connect clients with additional resources as needed Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience in human services, vocational rehabilitation, workforce development, mentoring, or a related support role Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or barriers to employment Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field strongly preferred Must be willing to maintain professional boundaries, follow confidentiality standards, and complete documentation accurately and on time Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally as needed ACRE Certified Why Join Us Make a real difference by supporting long-term success, not just job placement Be part of a mission-driven, collaborative team of vocational specialists and professionals Gain opportunities for professional development and career growth Compensation and Application Pay range is estimated between 21.00 and 25.00 per hour Benefits include employee assistance program, flexible schedules, health and life insurance, and professional development support Full-time employment requires open availability, including evenings and weekends To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to .
