Employment Specialist Location:

Easterseals may have the perfect opportunity for you to work in a job that you love, while making a difference and earning a competitive pay and comprehensive benefits! Easterseals is seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to provide support and guidance in the community to individuals with intellectual disabilities as they learn important vocational skills and maintain jobs within the community. As you build relationships with the people you support, you will share in the joy that they experience when learning a new skill that promotes independence in everyday life. This is generally a 40 hour per week position Monday - Friday daytime hours. Some work outside of those hours may be necessary based on individual work schedules. Qualifications:
Must have compassion for others and the desire to support adults with disabilities Driving record in good standing Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field Experience supporting individuals with disabilities in a community and/oremployment setting Knowledge of DVR standards and reporting
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with adults with disabilities is a plus, but not required Job-specific paid training provided on site Supporting staff in a leadership role
