Employment Coach (APD Certified Required) Clearwater, FL Tuesdays | 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM $16.00 - $19.00 Per Hour

Infinite Heart Support Care Services is seeking a dedicated and motivated Supported Employment Coach to assist a young adult with Down syndrome in exploring career opportunities, developing job skills, and obtaining meaningful community employment. This individual is friendly, pleasant, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence through employment and community involvement.

Schedule Tuesdays:

11:00 AM - 4:00 PM 5 hours per week Opportunity for additional hours as services expand Responsibilities Provide individualized job development and employment coaching services Assist with resume creation and employment profiles Support completion of job applications and online employment searches Prepare client for interviews and workplace expectations Conduct vocational exploration activities in the community Build relationships with local employers to identify suitable employment opportunities Assist the client in identifying strengths, interests, and career goals Support the development of soft skills, workplace behaviors, and independence Accompany the client into the community to explore employment options and career interests Maintain accurate service documentation and progress notes in compliance with APD requirements Communicate professionally with agency staff, support coordinators, employers, and support team members Required Qualifications Applicants MUST possess: Current Supported Employment Coaching Certification through the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) Social Security Work Incentives Certification High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's License or Government-Issued ID Reliable transportation that is registered and insured Smartphone with internet access Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening Ability to pass local background screening requirements Strong communication and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and patient demeanor Required APD Training Applicants must possess or be willing to complete all required APD training, including: HIPAA Direct Care Core Competencies (DCCC) Zero Tolerance Requirements for All Waiver Providers

HIV/AIDS 101 CPR
