POSITION SUMMARY
The Vocational Coordinator is a leadership role that sits between the Area Manager and frontline employment staff. This role is responsible for building and leading a local team of Employment Specialists and Job Coaches, including staffing, training, coaching, and daily accountability. The Vocational Coordinator helps grow referrals and caseload volume within the assigned area and ensures the employU service model is followed. This role may include carrying a temporary caseload during the early stages of team growth, with the expectation of transitioning fully into a team leadership role as the pod matures. Team Leadership & Accountability- Coaches Employment Specialists and Job Coaches on activity, follow-through, and quality of service.
- Holds team members accountable to the expected service model and performance standards.
- Monitors staff performance and addresses concerns proactively.
- Trains new team members until they are able to work independently.
- Runs weekly accountability meetings with staff and follows up on issues early. Growth & Development
- Supports recruiting efforts to build out the local team, including Employment Specialists and Job Coaches.
- Leads outreach and referral-building activities to grow caseload volume within the assigned area.
- Helps launch new services or programs as assigned by leadership.
- Partners with the Area Manager to build a stable, high-performing pod over time.
- Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with the employU service model.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational and performance concerns. Direct Service (Early-Stage Caseload)
- May carry a personal caseload while the pod is still being built; this is temporary by design.
- Transitions out of direct caseload responsibilities as the pod reaches full staffing capacity, shifting focus to coaching and management.
- Ensures caseload activities meet organizational and funding-source standards while the caseload is active. Administrative Duties
- Ensures timely and accurate completion of case notes, billing, and required documentation for any personal caseload.
- Monitors and evaluates pod performance, tracking progress toward net-revenue-per-ES targets.
- Prepares and communicates updates on pod performance to the Area Manager.
- Completes other related tasks as directed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation, Psychology, Social Work, Business, or a related field required. Experience
- Prior experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, job coaching, or a related human-services field preferred.
- Prior supervisory, coaching, or team-lead experience preferred. Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based case management/CRM systems. Other Requirements
- Strong knowledge of vocational rehabilitation, employment services, or workforce development preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to pass a level 2 background check.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, auto registration, and auto insurance with minimum coverage of bodily injury $50,000 per person / $100,000 per accident.
- Confidentiality and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines is required.
