What We Do As one of Iowa's most trusted human services agencies, LSI has a legacy of serving children, adults, and families for more than 160 years. Our Services for People with Disabilities wrap care around individuals across the state, from providing occasional respite care or weekly services, to 24/7 support in either a shared apartment environment or one-on-one care through our hourly supported community living program. You can make a direct impact on the lives of the Iowans we are privileged to serve. What You'll Do The Site Team Leader role is specific to 24-hour daily Supported Community Living (SCL) sites for adults with intellectual disabilities or chronic mental health illness. This role works directly with adults to provide support, assistance, and instruction that help improve personal growth and independence. The Site Team Leader's schedule consists of direct care hours, as well as administrative duties. They serve as a ready resource and partner with daily Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) working at the site. They may need to answer questions including, but not limited to, programming, documentation, trainings, and scheduling. This position offers primarily weekday hours, 2nd shift (2:30pm to 10:30pm) with opportunities for occassional day and weekend shifts. The Site Team Leader will participate in a rotating on-call schedule, which includes select weekends. During on-call periods, proximity to the service area is required. We value flexibility and work to balance scheduling needs across the team. What You'll Need Site Team Leader 1: Requires a high school diploma or GED with one year experience in human services, education or human services related field. Site Team Leader 2: Requires a Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in human services, education or human services related field, or a related associate's degree with two years experience, or a high school diploma or GED with four years experience.
