This position requires travel to all Christie Clinic satellite facilities as needed. Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and delivering training programs for Christie Clinic team members. Performs regular auditing to ensure consistent, compliant, high-quality service delivery across registration and business services functions. Duties will also include training new team members on insurance and insurance setup.
JOB DUTIES
(This list may not include all of the duties assigned.) Staff Engagement & Rounding (Check-In and Registration): Conduct regular rounding with frontline team members Provide real-time feedback and workflow troubleshooting Identify performance gaps and escalate trends to the Business and Clinical Services managers. Support consistent application of procedures across shifts and locations
Audit & Compliance:
Perform weekly and monthly audits at satellite locations Review registration, documentation, and workflow adherence Report findings and assist in re-education, training and corrective action Maintain audit logs and trends data for leadership
Orientation & Onboarding:
Delivers Business Services Orientation Coordinate scheduling, materials, communication and follow up Guide new hires through initial workflows and systems
Training Program:
Co-facilitate training classes as assigned Co-Develop slide decks, exercises, demonstrations and handouts Track training attendance, completion, and competency metrics
Asynchronous Training Development:
Help build and maintain a digital library of training modules Create step-by-step guides, recorded demonstrations, knowledge checks, and resource pages Update materials as processes or systems change
Operational Improvement:
Collect and analyze feedback from staff rounding and audits Identify patterns or systemics issues needing attention Rollout of new processes or system changes Maintain documentation consistency across all locations Maintains training websites and programs (Insurance Central, etc) Respond to department inquiries as needed Respond to correspondence received from patients or insurance carriers, either by telephone or in writing Cross trains to provide coverage support to co-workers during extended absences Attend various meetings and professional development programs on a regular basis Attend daily and weekly huddle(s) Perform other job duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in developing learning material
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
Epic Credentialing in Prelude and Professional Billing within a year Maintain Epic credentials and certifications as applicable
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time, walking, bending, and stretching. Occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity, sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, copier/scanner and other such office equipment. Hearing must be within normal range or correctable for classroom setting and telephone conversations. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods and work in an environment which can be very stressful.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Duties are performed in a normal office or home office setting and classroom environment. Requires travel to satellite locations and in-the-field rounding work. Interaction with fellow staff in close conditions and frequent contact with a variety of individuals. The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related criteria.
