Job Description

This CTE Career Pathways Designer will support the facilitation of expanding and documenting CTE program career pathways and Programs of Study. Document Career Pathways, K-14 Articulation and high school Dual Enrollment, BHC CTE offerings, and transfer opportunities. Develop and build relationships with Adult Education programs, K-12, transfer schools, businesses, and workforce agencies. Works closely with academic departments and the deans in the development of CTE pathways. Serves as a college contact for pathway design. Establishes communication channels with dual credit coordinators to document dual credit opportunities for CTE. Design, document, and coordinate with marketing available CTE pathways. Initiates meetings with college personnel and area high school personnel to recruit, inform, promote and grow BHC CTE programs. Maintains CTE pathways on the college website. Ensures that pathway documentation is adhering to the appropriate state guidelines. Works with East Campus personnel and QC Campus personnel to document and market pathway design. Coordinates pathway endorsements (CCPE) for CTE programs. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of three years teaching experience in junior high, high school, or college level required. Basic level ability with Microsoft Office required specifically including Access, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must be willing to travel during peak times. Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required. Academic student advising or dual credit/enrollment program experience strongly preferred. Experience with Banner database system preferred.
DESCRIPTION OF OTHER DUTIES
: Provides pathway data and reports for college and state offices as required. Serves on College committees as directed. Performs other job-related duties as required.

PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
: Works directly with Associate Dean of Adult and Continuing Education Works cooperatively with college recruiters, Student Services, and Independent Learning Center staff at both campuses. Works cooperatively with Instructional Deans and Executive Director of Planning and Institutional Effectiveness. Works with instructional departments. Works with Dual Credit Coordinators.
