Recovery Specialist About Us High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Lead the launch of something new As we prepare to open our new Hyannis facility in October 2026, we are excited to welcome a thoughtful, experienced leader to help bring this vision to life. Recovery Specialist Duties & Responsibilities Applicants should have knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries Facilitate & document groups discussions Complete client admission documentation Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe, & calm unit Observation & accounting of patients at all times insuring safety (hourly checks w/ documentation) Escorting patients to meals & fresh air breaks Attends required meetings & mandatory trainings Recovery Specialist Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED Benefits High Point's main objective is to ensure employees and their families lead fulfilling and healthy lives. The actual offer may fall above or below this range depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location.
