Aug 21, 2026 Job Description The Job Coach supports students in developing pre-vocational and vocational skills by providing hands-on instruction and guidance in both school-based and community job settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist and instruct students at job sites within the school and in community-based settings Provide job-specific skills training across a variety of work environments Reinforce academic skills as they relate to vocational tasks and workplace expectations Support the classroom teacher in evaluating student performance and progress Participate in the development and implementation of vocational goals and objectives within each student's IEP Identify and visit potential job sites to assess their suitability for student learning and skill development Maintain appropriate documentation of student progress as required Communicate effectively with staff, employers, and other stakeholders to support student success Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
