Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
This position is responsible for coordinating field placement processes for undergraduate and graduate educator licensure programs and supporting candidates, faculty, and school partners throughout the placement cycle.

EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the coordination and administration of field placements for undergraduate and graduate educator licensure programs Establish, develop, and maintain partnerships with local school districts and community stakeholders Distribute and review field experience applications to determine eligibility; conduct final eligibility verification prior to each semester Develop and assign field placements in alignment with licensure requirements, candidate preferences, and program data Prepare and disseminate placement assignments to partner schools and districts Communicate placement details clearly and consistently to all relevant stakeholders, including candidates, school partners, faculty, and staff Maintain accurate and up-to-date field placement records, databases, and related documentation Provide candidates with placement information and ensure compliance with all background check and clearance requirements Plan and facilitate orientation sessions for teacher candidates regarding field experiences and expectations Prepare and distribute certificates and vouchers for supervising practitioners Draft and distribute recognition letters to partner schools and districts Share placement and enrollment information with faculty and administrative staff to support course registration and program planning

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in education or related field Strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative academic environment Three or more years working in a public school One or more years supervising candidate practicums as Program Supervisor or Supervising Practitioner Demonstrated commitment to equal opportunity, equity, and inclusion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with field experience placement Knowledge of DESE licensure requirements Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese are strongly encouraged to apply.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time, non-benefited contract position, not to exceed 18 hours per week. The scheduled hours are flexible. The pay rate is $ 40 per hour. Framingham State University conducts criminal history and sexual offender record checks on recommended finalists prior to final employment for all positions.
