What You'll Do Conduct referral eligibility screenings, intakes, orientations, and required assessments. Maintain accurate and timely participant records, including case notes, progress reports, and data entry. Facilitate training classes and group sessions (e.g., Cognitive Self Change, employability skills, parent support, and community workshops). Provide guidance, advocacy, and referrals to connect participants with community resources such as healthcare, housing, food, education, and employment opportunities. Monitor participant progress throughout all phases of programming, from intake through successful employment. Serve as a case manager/employment specialist for justice-involved adults in the Kent County Jail and/or Kent County Probation Office. Obtain and maintain clearance to access the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to facilitate training classes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in human services, workforce development, or a related field, with preference for experience supporting justice-involved or socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals. Strong knowledge of employment practices, community resources, and social service systems, with proven ability in caseload management, data collection, report writing, and assisting clients with employment barriers. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per Hope Network policy.
