Job Description

Role Description:
Smart Compassionate Care is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Part-Time Job Coach to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and autism to achieve their employment goals. This is a part-time, on site-role for a job coach. In this role, you will provide personalized coaching, mentorship, and training to help clients develop essential job skills, navigate workplace environments, and foster independence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while contributing to workforce development initiatives. The ideal candidate is energetic, empathetic, and passionate about supporting diverse populations in their journey toward meaningful employment.
Location:
Maple Lake, MN and 20miles surrounding areas
Schedule:
20hours a week Duties Visiting client work site in-person to provide real-time, on the job support Guide clients in recongnizing and refining their job-related skills. Support Clients with requesting accomodations and understanding their workplace responsibilities Provide one-on-one coaching to clients with developmental disabilities and autism, focusing on job readiness, workplace skills, and social interactions Develop individualized employment plans tailored to each client's strengths, interests, and goals Assist clients in preparing for interviews by practicing interview techniques and providing constructive feedback Support clients during job placements by mentoring them through daily tasks, workplace expectations, and social dynamics Collaborate with employers, community agencies, and family members to coordinate services and ensure successful employment outcomes Conduct training sessions on workplace behavior, communication skills, and job-specific tasks Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, coaching sessions, and employment activities Qualifications Experience in Job coaching and career counseling Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to provide effective coaching and guidance Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly preferred Knowledge of employment & labor law related to disability accommodations and workplace rights Background in social work, workforce development, or addiction counseling is advantageous Proven skills in interviewing, mentoring, recruiting, and delivering training & development programs Strong understanding of teaching strategies tailored for diverse learning styles Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients toward independence Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and community partners Join us in creating empowering opportunities for individuals seeking meaningful employment! $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
