Full Time (11A-7:30P) Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults , children and adolescents . Our outpatient services are a convenient drive to areas in Hinds County, Madison County and Rankin County. We also provide inpatient services for those who need more structured treatment. ACTIVITY AIDE/COORDINATOR

(FULL TIME)

Position Summary:

Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive recreation therapy program to meet the physical, social, cultural, and recreational needs of patients. This includes planning and organizing activity therapy, evaluating patients' abilities and behaviors, participating in interdisciplinary treatment teams, documenting according to facility standards, demonstrating knowledge of therapeutic activities for psychiatric and chemically dependent patients, and communicating with other departments to ensure patient needs are met.

Qualifications Minimum :

High School diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience working with children/adolescents, geriatric, and/or adults with emotional, behavioral, and/or developmental disabilities.
