Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Employment Support Professional to empower individuals in achieving meaningful employment and independence. In this role, you will serve as a vital connector between job seekers and the workforce, providing personalized support, mentorship, and training to help clients overcome barriers and succeed in competitive employment settings. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will inspire confidence and foster growth for those you serve, ensuring they reach their full potential in the workforce. Responsibilities Develop individualized employment plans tailored to each client's skills, interests, and goals. Assist clients with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies to enhance employability. Provide ongoing mentoring and support to help clients navigate workplace challenges and develop essential skills. Collaborate with employers, community organizations, and service providers to identify suitable job opportunities. Conduct outreach and recruitment efforts to connect with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Deliver training sessions on workplace etiquette, social skills, addiction counseling techniques, and other relevant topics. Monitor client progress post-employment, offering coaching and resources to promote retention and success. Requirements Proven knowledge of employment and labor laws relevant to workplace accommodations and rights. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, demonstrating patience and understanding. Background in addiction counseling or related behavioral health fields is highly desirable. Strong teaching, mentoring, interviewing, recruiting, and training skills to support client development. Familiarity with workforce development principles and social work practices to facilitate holistic support. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and build trust with diverse populations. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. $22.96 - $27.65 per hour
