Full-time Function :
In partnership with youth, families, schools, and communities, implements evidence-based and evidence-informed prevention programs and services for all Bergen County school districts to promote mental health wellness.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, assemblies, etc. Assists in the programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes and evaluation of services to the target population. Provides ongoing input on hub design areas of focus, supportive community resources, etc. Assists in planning programs in schools and communities. Maintains active, constructive relationships with collaborative partners, funding sources, school administration and faculty, community groups, service providers, and other relevant agencies. Maintains current knowledge of evidence-based prevention programming and implements evidence-based prevention services and curricula with fidelity. Participates in relevant state and community meetings to promote program awareness; Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field, experience in the provision of prevention related programs. At least three (3) years' experience working in non-profit, social service environment in development or implementation of community-based services, prevention programs, or any other human service programs. Bilingual Spanish/Polish/Korean preferred. Experience in implementing evidence-based practice models and other materials related to training, coaching according to policies and procedures. Available to work a combination of before, during and after school hours. Excellent communication skills - oral and written Valid driver's license and use of own vehicle for self-transportation. Must identify with the mission and goals of the agency Ability to effectively work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds and races Ability to effectively work as a team member Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated on a year-for-year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience.
