Job Description
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Campus Director, Regional Center for College Students with Learning Disabilities, the incumbent's primary responsibilities will be clinical, involving the provision of diagnostic and academic support services to college students with learning disabilities. In addition, the Learning Disabilities Specialist ( LDS ) will be involved in assisting faculty in working with students and monitoring the student's progress in their academic careers, gathering instructional resources and technological resources, and reviewing and entering data on the use of academic support.Required Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Learning Disabilities, Special Education or a related academic discipline is preferred. 2. A bility to support college level teaching writing] is required. 3. Three years writing teaching experience, preferably with secondary level students with learning disabilities. 4.. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.Status:
