Job Description

This position provides study review assistance to students in specific subject areas and, under the direction of Tutoring Resources staff, also in the planning of study review sessions to help increase student retention and overall success.

As Needed 1. Facilitates study review sessions with students. 2. Participates in target course. 3. Maintains and updates session logs. 4. Develops study review session plans. 5. Develops resources and outreach materials to encourage participation in study review sessions. 6. Attends conference sessions. 7. Related projects and duties as assigned. 1. Currently enrolled OCC student. 2. Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 with minimum grade of B in the subject he/she will be specializing in. 3. Written recommendation from OCC faculty member who provided applicant's instruction for the specified target course. 4. Completion of required training and professional development program requirements. 5. Available to work a flexible schedule to include some evening and weekend hours, if needed.
