Employment Outcomes Specialis (EOS) Amerability, LLC Las Vegas, NV Job Details Contract $35 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities Full Job Description Employment Outcomes Specialist (EOS) $35.00 per hour | 40 hours per week | 12-week project position | Anticipated start: October 1, 2026 Amerability is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Outcomes Specialist to build employer relationships, create real-world work opportunities, and support people with low vision toward sustainable employment in Las Vegas. The Opportunity This is not simply a classroom-based employment position. We are looking for someone who can get out into the Las Vegas community, develop employer relationships, create opportunities, and connect low vision participants with meaningful real-world employment experiences and opportunities for growth. The Employment Outcomes Specialist will work directly with Amerability participants while developing relationships with employers, businesses, community organizations and professional networks throughout the Las Vegas area. A major focus is ensuring participants gain the experience, employer exposure, professional connections and demonstrated skills needed to progress toward sustainable employment. Primary Employment Development Focus The successful candidate will build and maintain an active employer pipeline that creates opportunities for:
  • Work-Based Learning Experiences (WBLEs)
  • Internships and short-term work experience
  • Job shadowing and workplace observation
  • Employer informational interviews and workplace tours
  • Professional networking and career exploration
  • Direct employment and targeted job opportunities
  • Employer in house presentations to participants Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of Las Vegas employers willing to engage with Amerability participants.
  • Identify and develop internships, work experiences and job-shadowing opportunities aligned with participant career goals.
  • Establish relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, business owners and community partners.
  • Introduce employers to the benefits of providing meaningful employment experiences to people with low vision.
  • Match participants with appropriate employers based on interests, capabilities, employment goals and areas requiring further development.
  • Support participants in developing professional LinkedIn networks, employer relationships and confidence communicating with businesses.
  • Assist participants with targeted job searching, applications, employer outreach and conversational interview preparation.
  • Coordinate workplace visits, employer introductions and Work-Based Learning Experiences through presentations from pipeline of employees and companies.
  • Maintain accurate records of employer contacts, opportunities developed and participant employment activity.
  • Work collaboratively with Amerability program staff to identify participant strengths, barriers and employment-development priorities.
  • Track measurable employment outcomes throughout the 12-week project.
Who We Are Looking For We are particularly interested in applicants who can demonstrate strong experience in one or both of the following areas: 1. Disability Employment Experience Experience working directly with people with disabilities is strongly preferred.
Relevant backgrounds may include:
  • Vocational Rehabilitation or disability employment services
  • Supported employment, job development or job coaching
  • Workforce development or Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)
  • Rehabilitation, transition or community-based employment programs 2.
Employer Development and Pipeline Building We are also very interested in candidates who have successfully built relationships with employers and created employment opportunities.
Relevant experience may include:
  • Building employer partnerships and business relationships
  • Creating pipelines for internships, work experiences or job shadowing
  • Business-to-business networking, workforce recruitment or community outreach
  • Sales, account management or relationship management with a strong employer-development focus You do not necessarily need to come from a traditional rehabilitation background if you can demonstrate a strong history of building employer relationships and creating meaningful employment opportunities in the Las Vegas market. Ideal Candidate
  • Highly confident communicating with employers and making new business introductions.
  • Persistent, proactive and comfortable developing new relationships from the ground up.
  • Able to communicate effectively with people with low vision, families, employers and professionals.
  • Strong at networking, follow-up and relationship development.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple participant and employer relationships about a 30/70 split.
  • Outcome-focused and comfortable working independently in the Las Vegas community.
  • Passionate about creating genuine career opportunities rather than simply helping individuals submit job applications, be a mentor, a coach not just a consultant.
