Starting Hourly Rate:
$20.00
Schedule:
Approximately 10-12 hours per week between the hours of 12pm-7pm;
Tuesday & Wednesday Job Description:
The Vocational Day Services (VDS) Program is an afterschool, work readiness program for adolescent youth in Albany County that have a history of mental health challenges. The mission of VDS is to assist youth in developing the social, emotional, physical and vocational abilities which are fundamental for successful placement in the workplace.
Responsibilities:
Transport youth to program and home after program Assist program instructor in assigned daily learning activities centered around career exploration based on interest, navigating through the employment process and meeting day-to-day expectations at a job to maintain employment Provide direct supervision of program participants, monitoring behavior and safety Conduct program projects and/or activities for youth as appropriate Document and maintain updated progress notes of group sessions using the AWARDS electronic health system Participate in assigned meetings and trainings
Requirements and Education:
