Monday•Friday, 8:30A•4:30

P Salary :

$23.60/hr

Associate's Degree Clean and valid NYS Driver's License required HHA experience preferred Day Habilitation experience, 1 year of supervisory experience preferred, but not required Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Assist consumers in planning appropriate community integration activities consistent with accessibility of community site. Promote activities to include consumer choice. Facilitate integration to each site, encourage consumer participation in dialogue, and solicit feedback consistent with learning module to enhance learning and awareness. Assist consumers with all ADL needs including, but not limited to, feeding, transferring, lifting, toileting, dressing (coats), etc., as per consumer's protocols. Ensure needs of consumers are met including but not limited to their safety and well-being. Verify consumer appointments and schedules are adhered to. Drive consumers to and from program in AM and/or PM.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, lift and push more than 100 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Provide hand-over-hand assistance in classroom when necessary. Join our Team and Make a Difference!
