About the Role We are seeking an engaging, student‑focused professional to coordinate leadership programs, student government activities, and campus‑wide engagement initiatives that strengthen positive center culture. This role is ideal for individuals who understand youth development, peer‑led programming, student engagement, and cultural enrichment in an educational or community‑based setting. This position is well‑suited for individuals with experience in: Youth development or mentoring Student leadership or student activities coordination Community engagement or service programs Cultural programming or diversity‑focused initiatives Behavioral development, coaching, or group facilitation Program planning, event coordination, or student support services You will collaborate closely with Counseling, Career Training, staff partners, student leaders, and community organizations to deliver meaningful programs that help young adults grow socially, emotionally, and professionally. This is an on‑site, student‑facing role that requires strong communication, organization, consistency, and the ability to foster a supportive and inclusive campus environment. Your leadership directly influences student engagement, center culture, student government effectiveness, and overall student satisfaction. What You'll Do Student Leadership, Culture & Engagement Coordinate and oversee student programs and activities that support the Career Success Standards (CSS). Facilitate leadership programs such as Student Government Association (SGA), Keepers of the Culture, and Student Safety Cadets. Recruit, mentor, and support student leaders and student‑run clubs. Create programs and events based on student needs, holistic assessments, and cultural considerations. Conduct student focus groups and surveys to assess student satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities. Program Planning, Activities & Community Collaboration Plan culturally responsive events and learning opportunities. Work with Counseling, Career Training, and other departments to support non‑residential student engagement. Partner with community organizations and staff to coordinate community service activities. Organize incentives, team‑building events, and SGA‑sponsored activities that enhance positive center culture. Culture, Behavior Support & Student Experience Promote and model positive behavior in alignment with CSS and center values. Identify trends that affect center culture and recommend strategies to improve the student experience. Address behaviors or cultural issues by designing targeted programs and interventions. Publicize and enforce Zero Tolerance and anti‑bullying policies consistently and professionally. Documentation, Reporting & Accountability Monitor, evaluate, and document program effectiveness. Maintain accurate logs, student program records, and required reports. Ensure all documentation meets quality and compliance standards. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred. Two years of related experience; youth‑focused experience strongly preferred. Ability to facilitate leadership programs, focus groups, and student activities. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to model behavior aligned with CSS and mentor students effectively. Computer proficiency and strong follow‑through. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Eligibility to work in the U.S. (I‑9 verification required). Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check.
