Job Description

Coordinator to work with students across Paulding and Van Wert school districts. The Transition Coordinator provides Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) to students with disabilities by delivering instruction in career exploration, workplace readiness, postsecondary planning, self-advocacy, and coordinating work-based learning experiences. The role collaborates with school districts, families, community partners, and employers to support student transition planning and expand programming aligned to workforce needs. Responsibilities include coordinating partnerships, organizing career experiences, maintaining required documentation and reporting, and tracking student progress toward employment goals. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, with experience working with students with disabilities and the ability to manage programs across multiple districts independently.
Qualifications include:
A Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Career Technical Education, or a Related Human Services Field. Valid Ohio licensure or ability to obtain appropriate certification. Experience working with students with disabilities. Knowledge of transition planning, workforce readiness, career exploration, and multiagency collaboration.
