Job Description

Are you passionate about helping others achieve meaningful employment? Join our Mission Services team as an OMJ Lab Instructor ! In this role, you'll work directly with job seekers at the OhioMeansJobs Lab, providing guidance, support, and training to help individuals gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workforce. •
PLEASE NOTE
this role will be a Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes County Employee, but the actual work location is in the OMJ Lab at Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS).
What You'll Do:
Provide job development and placement support for clients referred to the program Lead workshops and deploy online training to enhance job readiness Conduct mock interviews and assist clients with resume writing and job search skills Help clients navigate their OhioMeansJobs accounts Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Goodwill staff, OMJ staff, and WCDJFS partners Submit reports and documentation to the Mission Services Director Serve as a backup driver for Goodwill programs as needed
What We're Looking For:
A positive, professional communicator who enjoys helping others succeed Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships Excellent organization, time management, and customer service skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Qualifications:
College degree in a Human Services-related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license and proof of insurability, or reliable transportation Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening Why You'll Love Working with
