About this Position The Career Services Development Coordinator supports OSU Career Services by designing, coordinating, and delivering training and professional development for departmental staff. This role oversees onboarding, performance development, and continuous learning initiatives aligned with OSU's mission to foster student success. This position serves as the key liaison between HR functions and departmental staff, ensuring compliance with university policies while fostering a high-performing, student-centered team environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Human Resources, Educational Leadership, Organizational Psychology or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Four years of experience in Career Services, human resources, employee training or staff development. Experience in higher education or career services. Post-secondary education may be substituted for years of experience. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design and training evaluation. Excellent facilitation and public speaking skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple training projects. Strong organizational and time-management skills. High level of attention to detail and data accuracy. Working knowledge of HR systems and practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
