Job Description

"Be Part of Something" BCRC (Beaver County Rehabilitation Center) is a private non-profit organization that works to fulfill its mission by assisting those with challenges to employment, recovery, and independent living. Our Agency predominately serves those with intellectual disabilities, autism and mental illness. Records Clerk / Job Coach - This position reports to the Coordinator of Records Management and provides oversight and instruction to participants as they work on activities related to indexing documentation and completing a variety of clerical related tasks.
Location:
Center Township location at 131 Pleasant Drive, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
Schedule:
Part time, daylight hours, 3 days a week, Monday and Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., plus one additional weekday, some flexibility required.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Core Responsibilities Support participants working on subcontracts, including records management, and follow work setup as outlined in the time study. Provide systematic skills training to participants under supervision. Manage participant payroll and quality control for multi-company job flow. Maintain accurate and complete records. Implement goal plans and behavioral management plans in a consistent, positive manner. Use positive approaches to motivate participants while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Receive, sort, and forward documents Assist with related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, indexing and filing documents Read and review records/documents/books to determine key points and index them accordingly into a computer database Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects Professional Expectations Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance. Build and preserve positive relationships with community employers by respecting workplace boundaries and maintaining strict confidentiality for records being filmed or scanned. Attend required meetings, complete required training, and actively participate in performance appraisal. Perform assigned job coaching duties and other responsibilities as needed. Operational Requirements Lift boxes, learn records equipment, and work on contracts as needed. Write job analyses, training plans, participant evaluations, and other reports as needed. Maintain a flexible schedule based on participant, supervisor, and contract needs. Conduct classes or support groups as assigned. Transport participants as needed using agency and personal vehicle. Qualifications Positive attitude Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong work ethic with high integrity. Previous job coaching or clerical experience Microsoft Office Skills - Excel, Word A valid driver's license and insurance
