Student Activities Specialist (Center Point) DCFCM • Diakon Youth Services Boiling Springs, PA Outdoor Therapy with "At Risk" Youth Full Time, Varied
Hours/Pay Period:

General Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting to facilitating the day-to-day operations of the Center Point Day Program, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment for students. Facilitating daily routines, facilitating mentorship activities such as competency development and vocational programming, and supporting students through various programming and routine tasks. Assists with supervision of daily operations including student check-ins, lunch periods, classroom transitions, and hallway monitoring. Mentors students by providing guidance and support to help them develop independence, responsibility, and positive behavioral habits.
Education/Training:
 High school diploma/GED with 30 college credit hours;
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
Experience:
 A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in behavioral health, addictions treatment and/or juvenile justice required.
ADA:
Ability to walk climb and otherwise maneuver in a rustic wilderness setting; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.
