Job Description

Description:
The House Coach (Resident Support Staff) provides direct care and supportive services to residents participating in The Well program. This position plays a key role in creating a safe, structured, and trauma-informed residential environment. The House Coach supports residents in developing independent living skills, ensures adherence to program guidelines, assists with daily activities, administers pre-counted medications as assigned, and maintains accurate documentation. This role requires collaboration with team members to promote resident stability, growth, and overall well-being while maintaining program standards and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Education and Experience Associate's Degree in Behavioral Sciences, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred ; or High School Diploma/GED with at least two years of direct service or trauma-related experience . Licenses and Certifications Valid driver's license required. Clean driving record required. Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) or Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) preferred. Knowledge and Skills Understanding of trauma and trauma-informed care. Ability to work effectively with women in a residential setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Flexibility, adaptability, and empathy. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations. Physical and Work Requirements Ability to transport residents using a company vehicle. Ability to engage in daily resident activities and life-skills coaching. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. No overnight shifts required.
