We're seeking a Job Coach who is: Passionate about students and making a difference A collaborative team player Ready to support with heart and purpose What You'll Do The Job Coach works collaboratively with Administrators and Teachers to provide pre-vocational training and job coaching/training designed for special education students. This includes transporting students to worksites, supervising and assisting students at worksites, and tracking and reporting student progress. Ensure safety of all students in transit to and at work sites Transport students to work sites Support students in developing increased travel skills Perform task analysis of jobs, and make accommodations as necessary Demonstrate proper job skills required at work sites and monitor daily performance Evaluate student performance at work site and report student progress data as required Qualifications High School Diploma (post-secondary education preferred) Experience working with students Valid driver's license Ability to apply sound judgment to resolve conflicts and solve problems Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and the school community Ability to communicate clearly and concisely What We Offer You Competitive salary $24.22 (5.5 hrs./day; 10 months per year) A collaborative, growth-focused culture A district that truly values wellness, balance, and belonging Individuals currently employed by the Avon Grove School District who are interested in applying for this position must submit an internal application for this position through https://www.applitrack.com/avongrove/onlineapp/ External applicants who are interested in applying for this position must complete an application on https://www.applitrack.com/avongrove/onlineapp/ •When completing the application please use your legal name as listed on your Social Security Card•Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
