Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Career Development Coordinator (Contract) to join our Career Development team. The Career Development Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the firm's Career Development activities for Associates, Consultants, Managers, and Principals. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of case reviews, upward feedback (UF), the Career Development Coach (CDC) assignments, Summary Reviews, and related Workday operational activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent processes and stakeholders across the Consulting Team, People Team, Executive Assistants (EAs), Finance, etc. This is a three-four month contract position with the potential for extension based on business needs and individual performance. Responsibilities Master sheet & Case Review Administration Maintain master sheet tracking on a weekly basis to identify project-based allocations, relevant end dates Manually initiate Case Reviews for non-MD level Consulting Team and prepare corresponding list of Upward Feedback (UF) to coordinate with Shared Services. Manually initiate Mini Case Reviews and UF forms for Managers Career Development Coach (CDC) Allocation Coordinate the CDC program end-to-end, including: Maintaining the Coaching & Mentorship mastersheet Identifying and assigning new CDCs for newly promoted Consultants and Managers, as needed Assigning CDCs for incoming SWAPs Managing CDC change requests from the consulting team, updating the mastersheet, and coordinating with People Operations Manager to update Workday Assign Career Development Coaches for New Hire Orientation (NHO) participants and send pairing emails to new hires, their Career Development Coach Separations & Offboarding Monitor employee separations and coordinate related Career Development activities, including: Proactively contacting Consulting Team members who are leaving the firm to request completion and delivery of outstanding Case Reviews Identifying and assigning replacement Career Development Coaches for coachees when a Manager or Managing Director leaves the firm Cancelling outstanding Case Reviews for employees who have left the firm; reallocating case reviews when Reviewers leave the firm Reporting & Summary Review Support Anonymize and prepare Upward Feedback (UF) reports for Managing Directors Support the Summary Review process, including: Chasing reviewers to ensure Case Reviews are completed before Summary Review discussions Collecting informal feedback and initiating Short-Form Reviews when required Gathering feedback and performance ratings for TAPP and internal roles Coordinating Summary Review delivery meetings with EAs Informing reviewers when reviewees are on leave and Summary Review delivery needs to be postponed Notifying the Finance team of delayed Summary Review deliveries Coordinating promotion announcements with the Brazil team Creating the promotion announcement poster Sending compensation plans to newly promoted Managers General Administration & Systems Manage the Career Development inbox to respond to day-to-day Career Development inquiries and requests from the consulting team Coordinate Workday administrative activities, including: Manually initiating Case Reviews for employees below the review threshold, following Manager approval Reassigning reviewers and approvers Reopening Upward Feedback (UF) forms Supporting additional Workday-related Career Development requests as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required Prior experience in HR operations, career development, talent management, or a similar administrative role would be a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recurring processes and deadlines simultaneously Strong, methodical attention to detail, particularly for accurate mastersheet maintenance and independent task execution Confident, professional communicator, comfortable proactively contacting Consultants, Managers, and Managing Directors. Self-starter who proactively engages to ensure activities are well thought through and executed Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential performance information Strong aptitude to quickly learn Workday or a comparable HRIS platform Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Teams Ability to work cross-functionally with EAs, Finance, etc., including international teams as needed

Additional Information:

The expected hourly rate for this position is $25-35 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role is based in either our Boston or New York office and follows our hybrid work model for U.S. offices. We require employees to be in their assigned home office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, as well as the first Friday of each month.
