Role Description Looking for meaningful work that's both fun and impactful ? Join our team as a Developmental Specialist and help children and families thrive through connection, play, and evidence-based intervention. This part-time hybrid role is based out of Calabasas, CA , with remote opportunities throughout nearby communities including Agoura, Woodland Hills, Reseda, and Northridge . In this role, you'll partner closely with families to bring individualized developmental plans to life . You'll use engaging, play-based strategies to support neurodivergent individuals while coaching caregivers on practical tools they can use every day. Clear communication and collaboration with families and care teams will be key as you help track progress and celebrate growth. Our work is guided by the DIRFloortime® model -an evidence-based, person-centered approach that builds social-emotional, communication, and cognitive skills through play, curiosity, and meaningful connection .

Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree Strong skills in communication to provide clear and supportive guidance to families and team members Background in Psychology, child development, or a related field Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Compassionate and patient approach when working with individuals and families Flexibility to work both in Calabasas and in surrounding areas Reliable transportation Strong technology skills Preferred Master's degree in a related field Experience in a therapeutic or educational setting Experience with DIRFloortime®, Child Development, or ABA Benefits & Perks!
