Join our team at Valley Light Center for Social Advancement and make a meaningful impact every single day. This role requires a compassionate approach, particularly when working with people with developmental challenges. We're looking for a dedicated, hands-on Job Coach to lead a mobile crew of amazing adults with developmental challenges as they work to clean and beautify local bus shelters using tools like power washers and cleaning equipment. Responsibilities Supervise and motivate a mobile cleaning crew out in the community. Provide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and encouragement. Operate power-washing equipment and oversee cleaning of bus shelters. Teach life and work skills while fostering independence and confidence. Model professionalism, responsibility, and pride in a job well done. Collaborate effectively with team members and individuals receiving support to create an inclusive environment. Assist in training and mentoring new staff on cleaning protocols and best practices. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs. Participate in social initiatives by fostering positive relationships with individuals served. Qualifications A natural leader who believes in the potential of every person. Background in working with people with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Reliable, compassionate, and physically able to work outdoors. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record. Patience, positivity, and a sense of humor a BIG plus! Ability to adapt to changing environments and work effectively under minimal supervision.
