POSITION SUMMARY
The Pre‑Arrival Specialist is responsible for completing all pre‑arrival activities to ensure patients are financially cleared and administratively prepared prior to the date of service. This role performs insurance verifications, prior authorization activities, No-Surprise Billing Act (NSBA) functions, and proactive patient outreach to confirm appointment details, coverage, and financial expectations. The Pre‑Arrival Specialist collaborates closely with scheduling, clinical departments, and payers to identify and resolve potential barriers before arrival, supporting a positive patient experience, efficient patient flow, and accurate billing while reducing avoidable denials and delays. • This position is Full Time, 80 hours per pay period, with remote/hybrid options available •
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
One year of experience working in medical billing, insurance verification or related field required. Familiarity with patient types and insurance billing processes, or a willingness to learn and expand knowledge in these areas. Basic proficiency with Excel, email, and financial or registration systems, with the ability and desire to learn new applications and workflows.
