Job Description
Overview We are seeking a caring, compassionate adult to help support a 21-year-old young man with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) with similar characteristics to Autism and physical disabilities as he transitions from college into independent adult living.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring young adults, helping others building meaningful friendships, and helping someone gain confidence navigating everyday life.

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with social planning, attending community events
- Encouraging friendships and social connections
- Traveling to activities or appointments
- Providing guidance and support as he builds independence after college
- Prompting tasks and skill development in all settings throughout the day. This role is part of a small team of dedicated professionals, including a Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), therapist, and certified educational consultant that will provide ongoing guidance, training, and support. We are looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, patient, and depndable
- Social, positive, and encouraging
- Organized and comfortable helping plan activities and schedules
- Comfortable with basic technology, including Apple products and Word
- Able to pass a background check
- Possesses a valid driver's license and insurance, or ability to be insured
- Able to read, write, and speak English Pay /
Hours:
- Starting pay is $20 per hour
- 40 hour full time hours available
- Part-time positions are available with a minimum of two 8-hour shifts per week
