Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Career Services. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive career programs that empower students and alumni to achieve their professional goals. You will lead a dedicated team, foster partnerships with industry stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of innovative services that enhance employment outcomes. Your expertise in education administration, counseling, and recruiting will drive the success of our career initiatives, creating a vibrant bridge between academic pursuits and real-world opportunities. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and evaluation of all career services activities, including job placement, internships, resume workshops, and career fairs Develop strategic partnerships with employers, industry organizations, and community partners to expand employment opportunities for students and graduates Supervise and mentor a team of career counselors, recruiters, and administrative staff to ensure high-quality service delivery Oversee the management of career management systems to track student engagement and employment outcomes Conduct public speaking engagements at campus events, industry conferences, and outreach sessions to promote career services programs Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on career exploration, interview preparation, and professional development Collaborate with academic departments to integrate career readiness into curricula and academic advising processes Analyze employment data and feedback to continuously improve program effectiveness and reporting metrics Requirements Proven experience in education administration or university career services with a strong understanding of student needs and employer expectations Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences through public speaking, presentations, and counseling Familiarity with career management platforms for data analysis and reporting Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, mentoring, and working with students from varied backgrounds Strong analysis skills to interpret employment trends and program impact metrics Experience in individual/group counseling related to academic advising or career development Knowledge of university operations combined with expertise in teaching or mentoring students in a higher education setting Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster employment opportunities Join us as we empower students to transition confidently from education to meaningful careers! Pay:
