Primary Purpose:

Provide students with appropriate in-person and distance or virtual learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned GT 30-hour foundation or willingness to acquire before start date

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of academic subject(s) assigned Knowledge of internet and web-related technology Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms Ability to assist students with technology set-up and navigation and to provide resources for students/parents to contact if technology issues arise Ability to develop relationships and maintain consistent contact with students, parents, and colleagues Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience:

Minimum of three years of teaching experience; GT experience preferred Hutto ISD Talent Management & Personnel Support Hutto ISD Pay Scales
