•5:00 p.m. About the Role The Vocational Coordinator supports the daily operations of Burke Industries and provides services at both the Angelina and Nacogdoches facilities. This position is responsible for billing and documentation for Individualized Skills & Socialization programs while also providing direct support to individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include maintaining daily logs, processing payments from external providers, documenting staff hours and contract work, and ensuring completion of annual staff workbooks required for contract eligibility. The Vocational Coordinator also participates in planning meetings and supports individuals with skill development, socialization training, activities of daily living, and community integration. What You'll Do Manage billing and required documentation for Individualized Skills & Socialization programs. Maintain daily logs and accurate program records. Process payments received from external providers. Document staff hours and contract work. Ensure completion of annual staff workbooks required for contract eligibility. Participate in planning meetings to support individual care and services. Assist individuals with skill development and socialization training. Provide support with activities of daily living, including meal monitoring and medication administration. Promote community integration and increased independence. Provide services at both the Angelina and Nacogdoches Burke Industries facilities. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Need Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of six (6) months of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Computer skills. Valid Texas driver's license. Driving record that meets Burke's insurance requirements. Ability to successfully complete required training, including Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA), CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, Van Driving, and required training modules. Preferred One (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a vocational role.
