This position focuses on fostering confidence, independence, and workplace success skills among clients while cultivating strong relationships with employers. The role ensures each client is matched with suitable employment opportunities that align with their strengths, interests, and career aspirations. Responsibilities Provide direct, supportive job coaching in community-based work environments to help clients succeed in their roles. Break down job tasks into simple, manageable steps to facilitate learning and confidence building. Assist clients in developing essential workplace skills such as communication, time management, and problem-solving. Support clients in understanding workplace expectations and adapting to various work settings. Build and maintain positive relationships with employers to identify suitable job opportunities and facilitate successful placements. Monitor client progress and provide ongoing feedback and encouragement to promote independence and job retention. Collaborate with other service providers or team members to ensure comprehensive support for clients' employment goals. Requirements Prior experience or training in employment support, vocational rehabilitation, or related fields is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and empower clients facing diverse challenges. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, employers, and team members. Ability to adapt coaching strategies based on individual client needs and workplace environments. Knowledge of community resources and employment laws relevant to supported employment services is advantageous. A compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience to support clients through their employment journey.
