Job Description

Inova Neuroscience Research is looking for a dedicated Neuroscience Grant Funded Intern to join the Team. This PRN role will be day-shift working Monday - Friday located in Falls Church, VA. The Neuroscience Grant Funded Intern supports Inova's mission by gaining work experience in one's field and working on a grant funded research project with neurosurgery. Neuroscience Grant Funded Intern Responsibilities:
Gains work experience within one's field within specific areas in Inova. Takes direction in a positive manner. Provides technical and/or analytic feedback and assessments. Serves as project assistant or lead for specific initiatives across Inova Health System. Able to interact effectively with management, staff and other personnel, and work independently, and/or as part of a team. Provides expertise within field of specialty and/or study. Increases knowledge of area of study and or specialty. Demonstrates acquisition and exercise of new skills. Displays progress in level of functionality. Communicates effectively with mentor(s) and over time, demonstrates greater independence and decision making ability. May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Current student or recent graduate of an accredited associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience analyzing data and writing scientific paper preferred.
