Join RSVP, Inc. as a Job Readiness Instructor in Newport News, Virginia, where our team is dedicated to transforming lives. RSVP, Inc. works closely with local Departments of Social Services to support TANF and VIEW participants as they prepare for employment, overcome barriers, and work toward long term success. The Job Readiness Instructor will teach a structured Work Adjustment Training class focused on job readiness, workplace expectations, communication, interviewing, resume development, job searching, and job retention. Lead a job readiness class and support participants as they develop real world employment skills.

Enjoy teaching, coaching, presenting, or facilitating groups. Are comfortable using virtual platforms and technology. Communicate well with participants, coworkers, referral sources, and employers. Are organized and able to manage documentation, reports, deadlines, and follow up tasks. Want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant experience in human services, education, workforce development, employment services, or a related field may be considered. Teaching, training, or group facilitation experience preferred. Knowledge of
TANF, VIEW, DSS
programs, employment services, or workforce development preferred. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of required insurance. How to
