We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered supports that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve greater independence and actively participate in their communities. Position Summary JS Community Services is seeking an experienced Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of services for individuals receiving Virginia DD Waiver services. The QIDP ensures all services are person-centered, compliant with DBHDS and DMAS regulations, and focused on helping individuals achieve their goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Complete and maintain all QIDP responsibilities in accordance with Virginia DBHDS and DMAS regulations. Develop, review, and update Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and related documentation. Participate in Person-Centered Planning meetings and ISP team meetings. Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of individuals' strengths, needs, preferences, and outcomes. Monitor service delivery to ensure supports are implemented as written. Provide supervision, guidance, and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Review progress notes and documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance. Conduct routine quality assurance reviews and corrective action as needed. Ensure compliance with licensing standards, Medicaid Waiver requirements, and agency policies. Communicate effectively with Support Coordinators, families, guardians, healthcare professionals, and community partners. Assist with audits, licensing reviews, and accreditation activities. Maintain confidential records in accordance with HIPAA requirements. Report incidents and ensure required follow-up documentation is completed. Support staff training related to ISP implementation, documentation, and person-centered practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field required. Must meet Virginia qualifications to serve as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP). Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Virginia DD Waiver services, person-centered planning, and ISP development. Strong understanding of DBHDS and DMAS regulations. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Valid Virginia Driver's License with reliable transportation. Ability to pass all required background checks.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
