ABOUT CONQUER
At CONQUER Clinics, we're on a mission to provide hope, healing, and evidence-based behavioral healthcare to every corner of Washington State. As a licensed behavioral health agency, we offer psychiatric care, medication management, mental health therapy, substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, and certified peer support with a focus on accessibility, innovation, and compassion. We are expanding our team in Snohomish County and are looking for a Certified Peer Support Specialist who is passionate about making a meaningful impact on individuals struggling with mental illness and substance use disorders. YOUR ROLE AT CONQUER
General Duties:
Engage peers referred by the Monroe Police Department, Monroe Human Services staff and community partners. Provide peer based outreach and engagement using lived experience to build trust, model recovery tools, and promote hope based connection. Apply motivational interviewing skills to help peers identify and achieve goals concerning addiction, health, and their social situation. Peer intake support and engagement planning as well as individualized planning tailored to each participant's goals and identified needs. Ongoing case monitoring, follow-up, and continuity of support to promote stability and successful service connection. Resource navigation and coordinated referrals across behavioral health, SUD services, medical care, shelter/housing, benefits, and other essential supports.
Requirements:
Active Washington State Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) or Certified Peer Support Specialist Trainee (CPSST) certification Previous experience in addiction / mental health support, crisis intervention, harm reduction or a related field is required Knowledge of behavioral health systems and resources Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other professionals Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals in their recovery journey Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and client needs Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation
