Job DescriptionThe Child Support Liaison serves as the primary connection between the W-2 Agency and Child Support Agencies (CSAs), focusing on identifying non-custodial parents (NCPs) with limited earnings and linking them to employment services. This role facilitates referrals to workforce development programs to promote employment stability and improve child support compliance.

Act as the main liaison between W-2 and Child Support Agencies (CSAs), ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Identify NCPs with limited or inconsistent earnings who may benefit from employment services.

Facilitate referrals to workforce development programs including W-2, Transitional Jobs (TJ), Trial Employment Match Program (TEMP), FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET), Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), and Veterans Employment Programs.

Track referral outcomes and follow up to ensure engagement and progress.

Collaborate with case managers and program staff to align services with participant needs and child support obligations.

Maintain accurate records of referrals, services provided, and participant outcomes.

Educate NCPs on available employment resources and the impact of employment on child support compliance.

Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and program regulations.

QualificationsRequiredAssociate's degree in human services, Social Work, or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in workforce development, child support services, or case management.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Familiarity with employment programs and public assistance services.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.

PreferredBachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience working with non-custodial parents or in child support enforcement.

Knowledge of Wisconsin workforce and child support systems.

Bilingual (Spanish or Hmong) a plus.
