What You'll Do:
- Support individuals with disabilities in finding and maintaining employment
- Partner with employers to create inclusive workplaces Provide job coaching, resume assistance, and interview prep
- Advocate for workplace accommodations and career growth
- Provide a person-centered approach to assess strengths and barriers for employment success.
- Maintain a positive rapport with area businesses and employees.
- Participate in networking opportunities with area businesses to develop paid work experiences, job shadowing opportunities, and permanent employment for participants.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of Department of Vocational Rehabilitation regulations is preferred.
- A two (2) year degree in the Human Services field is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance is required.
