Overview We are seeking a dedicated CG (Certified Gerontologist or Caregiver) to join our team on the night shift in Anchorage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver vital care during overnight hours, ensuring our clients feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of care. Duties Provide personalized overnight care to clients, assisting with activities such as mobility, medication reminders, and hygiene needs. Monitor clients' health status during the night, promptly reporting any concerns or changes to supervisory staff. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety protocols and sanitation standards. Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care, including laundry and organizing personal belongings. Maintain clear documentation of care provided and any incidents that occur during the shift. Foster a respectful and comforting atmosphere that promotes client well-being and dignity. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication regarding client needs and care plans. Requirements Prior experience in home care, caregiving, or related health support roles is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach toward clients of diverse backgrounds. Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision. Excellent observational skills to monitor clients' health and safety effectively. Certification as a caregiver or relevant healthcare qualification is highly desirable. Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for this role. Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and perform light housekeeping tasks.
