The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care tailored to each individual's needs. Duties Safely operate Hoyer lifts and other mobility equipment to assist clients with transfers and repositioning, ensuring proper technique to prevent injury Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals according to care plans and dietary restrictions while maintaining proper hygiene standards Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease or dementia, employing patience and specialized techniques Follow established care plans and communicate effectively with family members, healthcare providers, and team members about client progress or concerns Requirements Proven experience operating Hoyer lifts safely in home or facility settings Prior home & community care experience preferred, especially with seniors or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs of distress or health deterioration Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes or hospice care is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely while maintaining proper body mechanics; physical stamina is essential Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a focus on dignity, respect, and personalized care Join us in delivering compassionate home care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and safely.
