Caregiver - Flexible Scheduling for CNA/PCA Students Looking for meaningful work while you're in school? We can work around your class schedule. Whether you're currently enrolled in a CNA or PCA program, working toward a career in healthcare, or simply have a heart for caregiving, we'd love to hear from you. Why Circle of Life? Our Personal Care team brings that same commitment to compassion, dignity, and meaningful relationships into the homes of our clients. We understand that students have busy schedules-which is why our caregivers start PRN and have the flexibility to build a schedule that works for them. We can work with your class schedule and other commitments while you gain valuable hands-on experience caring for others. As you gain experience and your availability changes, there may also be opportunities to increase your hours. What We Offer Starting pay of $16.50/hour with a weekend differential for working between 7pm Friday through 7am Monday. Flexible PRN scheduling that can work around your class schedule Choose assignments and coverage areas that fit your needs Annual increases based on performance Caregiver/client matching based on client needs and caregiver fit Paid drive time between clients Mileage paid while running errands or transporting clients Education assistance up to $2,500 annually for employees meeting requirements Support available for obtaining PCA or CNA certifications Continuing education opportunities for license maintenance Paid time off for full-time and part-time employees Comprehensive and affordable health insurance for full-time employees working qualified hours Retirement plan available to all staff Do I Need a CNA or PCA Certification? Not necessarily! While prior professional caregiving experience is preferred, a CNA or PCA certification is not required for this position. We recognize that valuable caregiving experience doesn't always come from a classroom or a job title. If you've provided significant care for a family member, loved one, or someone in your community, we'd love to hear about that experience. What We're Looking For Our ideal caregiver: Demonstrates genuine compassion and empathy Enjoys building meaningful relationships with others Is dependable and takes commitments seriously Can work independently and follow a client's care plan Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills Is comfortable providing personal care and assistance with daily activities Has a valid, current driver's license or reliable access to transportation Can meet pre-employment screening requirements What You'll Do Depending on each client's individual needs, caregivers may provide: Companionship and supervision Assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other activities of daily living Transportation to appointments and events Errand running Meal preparation Assistance with light housekeeping Assistance with recreational activities such as crafting, writing, exercising, and more Medication reminders Other duties based on the individual needs of the client Start Building Your Healthcare Career With Us If you're currently pursuing your CNA, PCA, nursing, or another healthcare-related education, Circle of Life Personal Care can give you an opportunity to gain meaningful experience while you're in school.
