Group Home Worker

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes and communities. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for those who require assistance due to age, disability, or health conditions. Upon hire, all new employees will undergo a training period lasting 14 working calendar days . During this training period, employees will be compensated at the current Arizona minimum wage rate of $15.15 per hour . Duties Provide direct support and personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being. Assist individuals with dementia care by implementing appropriate strategies to ensure safety and comfort. Support clients with disabilities by helping them navigate daily tasks and promoting independence. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition or needs to the appropriate personnel. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with nursing home environments or home community care settings is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment are essential.
