Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as an In Home Private Caregiver and become a vital part of providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness by delivering high-quality support that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As a caregiver, you will be the trusted companion and assistant, ensuring your clients receive attentive care tailored to their unique needs in a respectful and nurturing environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and overall health status following care plans and HIPAA regulations Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's ; ensure safety during transfers and ambulation Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members promptly Assist with light exercise routines or recreational activities to enhance physical activity and social engagement Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's), or memory care needs Certification or training in First Aid and CPR; knowledge of HIPAA compliance is essential for maintaining client confidentiality A plus; CNA Certified, HHA Certified Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for patient transfers or mobility assistance Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing signs of distress or illness Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams Valid driver's license preferred for transportation purposes; reliable transportation is necessary for client visits Compassionate attitude combined with patience, adaptability, and respect for individual dignity Food Handler's Certified Negative TB Skin Test Full Background Check; AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card Join us in delivering exceptional home care that transforms lives!
