Certified Caregivers & Med Techs- NOC Shift

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated QMAP/Caregiver to join our team, providing essential support and care to residents in assisted living, nursing home, or home & community care settings. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing residents' quality of life by assisting with daily activities, managing medications, and ensuring their safety and comfort. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols while maintaining detailed documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure residents' health status is stable and report any concerns promptly Provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory impairments through personalized engagement and behavior management strategies Support residents during meal preparation and feeding to promote nutritional health and independence Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Document all care activities thoroughly and communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated resident support Requirements Prior experience in long-term care settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or personal care homes is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Certification or training in First Aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire Experience operating EMR systems for accurate record-keeping is advantageous Ability to assist with ADLs using proper techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts safely and confidently Valid driver's license for driving residents when necessary within community settings Strong communication skills combined with a caring attitude focused on resident well-being Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to enriching lives through compassionate caregiving!
